“Jane’s Walk” is a “movement of free, citizen-led walking tours inspired by Jane Jacobs.” This year, the walks will take place May 5-7. In the Bronx, urban planner Sam Goodman will lead a walk along the Grand Concourse. The event will leave from the Bronx Museum of the Arts at 11 AM. If you can’t make the tour, check out this slide show, with commentary from Constance Rosenblum, that the New York Times produced in 2009.
